“TOO MUCH CHRISTCHURCH”

CRY TO BE ENDED CRICKET REPRESENTATION Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. “It will end for all time this cry of ‘too much Christchurch.’ These men will come down and will have a say in the election of the management committee, and join in the discussion at the annual meeting. “It is a big scheme and it means money but I think we can do it.” Mr. D. Reese, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, made these remarks in submitting to last night’s meeting of the committee a suggestion that affiliated associations should appoint a delegate to atend the annual meeting of the council, the council to pay the expenses of the delegates to Christchurch. Other members approved of the scheme generally, and decided to dis cuss it at a later date.
