The new vicar of the Anglican parish of Otorohanga, the Rev. J. T. Phillips, was inducted at St. Pride's on Tuesday evening. The Bishop of Waikato, assisted by Archdeacon fowie, and the Rev. A. Drake, of Te Kuiti, carried out the induction service. Mr. W. H. Horn, exchange officer of the Victorian Forest Commission, is at present in Whanprarei. Mr. Horn lias already visited the principal forest centres of the North, and to-day he will visit the Whakapara, plantation ,nd nursery, in company witn Mr. Anderson, forest Ruard, of Pllhipuhi. The Revs. G. T. Robson and S. Burrow vicar and curate respectively of the Te Awamutu parish, are about to leave the district and take up appointments elsewhere. The Rev. Mr. Robson is to become chaplain or. H.M.S. Diomede, and expects to take up his new duties about Easter time. Mr. Burrow will take his departure a few weeks later. Mr. and Mrs. 1.,. G. Hill left Whaupcarei by the express yesterday for tli- ir new .home in Dunedin. A number of friends and racing enthusiasts assembled at the railway station to bid them farewell, and they departed amid cheers.
