SAILING AT TAURANGA

When the Tauranga Yacht Club continued its weekly sailing races on Wednesday two races were attempted, but only one finished, as a dead calm set in. The 14-footer race for the trophy presented by Mr. Len Norris was won by Silver Link. Charm was second and No Surrender third. Speedwell and Ngaio also started. Silver Link has now won both contests and therefore secures the trophy. The same boats entered for the Galatea Cup event, which had to be abandoned on account of the wind dying away completely. The race will be sailed next Wednesday.
