A SPOT ON DANCING
A CHEERY EVENING AT NORTHCOTE T’other evening the inhabitants of Northcote (at least a number of them) decided, that the time was ripe for them to have a dance ... a really-truly-ex-clusively Northcote dance! Too long, they thought, had that popular and cheery form of amusement been neglected in their borough, so a committee was set up to look into the matter, and the result of their work was seen in the very enjoyable function that took place in the Northcote Masonic Hall recently. The organisers of the dance saw to it that everything connected with the dance was of local origin, and the success attending their efforts is surely a gratifying tribute to the amount of labour that had obviously been expended.
