FURTHER NOMINATION The third nomination for the City Council election was placed in the hands of the returning officer yesterday, the candidate being Mr. H. R. Jenkins, of Gillies Avenue, Epsom. The Onehunga mayoralty will probably see Mr. J. E. Green nominated Mr. Green indicated to the council he would be nominated, but would stand down if Mr. J. E. Cowell, present mayor, would consent to again stand.
