COMMITTEE MEETING OFFICIALS APPOINTED A meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Football Association was held last evening, Mr. N. Menzies presiding over a good attendance, including representatives of the Referees’ Association and Junior Management Committee. The following committees and officers were elected: Chairman, Mr. N. Menzies ; treasurer, Mr. H. Gribble; finance committee, Messrs. Campbell, Gribble, Wilkes, and Ballantyne; entertainment, Messrs. Reason, Downie, Harrison. and Fraser; grounds and matches, Messrs. Baker and Wilkes; emergency, Messrs. Campbell, Baker, and Downie: protest and investigation, Messrs. Hodges, Fraser, Campbell, and S. Hankins; registration, Mr. A. N. Hankins: sole selector. Mr. A. P. Neesham; W.F.F.A. delegate, Mr. M. McLaren. It was resolved that all clubs be granted permission to engage in friendly games prior to the commencement of the season. Permission was granted the Birkenhead Club to adopt a black jersey, and Newmarket a black and white jersey, as club colours.
