MARCH WEATHER
A FINE MONTH Weather conditions for the past month have been mainly fine, with a moderate rainfall and a fair amount of sunlight. Rain fell on 15 days, and the Albert Park gauge registered a fall of 4.57 in, while the most rain fell on the 15th, when the gauge 1.62 in. A fair temperature was maintained, although a sharp decline was experienced toward the end of the month. A maximum temperature of 76deg. F. was registered in the shade on the 17th, while the minimum temperature was 49deg. F. on the 31st. In the sun, the temperature rose as high as 143 deg. F. on the 3rd. and never fell belcnv 130 deg. F. throughout. The mean barometer reading for the month was 3G.023in. The atmospheric pressure varied from 30.434 in. to 29.598 in. throughout. Bright sunshine was experienced for 147£ hours, while only two days without sunshine were recorded.
