The Kuomintang is the political successor of the old revolutionary Tungmenhui, whose roots were everywhere in China, but principally in Canton, says the Peking correspondent of “The Times.” Many of the intellectuals of the younger generations throughout the country belong to the Kuomintang. including some of the numerous Cantonese in the service of the northern militarists.
