HAMILTON REFEREES
ANNUAL MEETING A SUCCESSFUL YEAR (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. The annual meeting of the Hamilton Rugby Referees’ Association was held last night, Mr. B. Marshall presiding over a good attendance. The report showed the association’s activities covered a, wide range of 176 games, irrespective of house, school and railwav matches. A pleasing feature was the absence of inquiries into rough or foul play. In addition 10 representative fixtures were controlled creditably by referees, and also the primary school matches. The association is very strong and keen. The election of officers resulted as follows: President. S. E. Senior: vicepresident. J. Herrick: secretary, S. A. Manning . selection t ommittee. F. Hawke am’ ' S. Cliffe: classification board. W. ...don and Cliffe; executive committee, A. Marcroft and H. Farrell y.
