TAKAPUNA METHODISTS

The Takapuna Methodist Church held its annual meeting last night. A good attendance had satisfactory reports presented to it by representatives of the various activities of the church. The minister, the Rev. G. B. Hinton, delivered a short address. He accepted with regret the resignation of the organist. In view of the success of last year’s plan, the speaker announced his intention of resuming, during the winter months, the Sunday evening evangelistic services. He expressed his appreciation for the co-operation of the congregation. After the election of officers, and the welcoming of several new members, refreshments were provided.
