"When 1 fixed the term of imprisonment of days l took into consideration the fact that he had a business and a longer sentence might affect it,” said Mr. McKean, 8.M., when Francis Jocelyn Johnstone Fletcher reappeared yesterday to appeal against the sentence of H days imposed >..m ih is morning for breach of his prooaiion and assault. “The punishment is more lenient than he deserves,” concluded the magistrate.
