SIX-MONTHS-OLD CHARGE When the Maunganui berthed at Prince’s Wharf this morning on her arrival from Sydney there was one of her passengers at any rate who was not glad to see Auckland again. It was John Woodley, aged 2., who has been “wanted” by the police since August 21 last year on a charge of stealing £l3O, the property of Mary Gorman. __ ~ Wood lev will appear before Mr. McKean in the Magistrate’s Court this afternoon. _ , . ~ When Woodley appeared before Mi. McKean, S.M., this afternoon. ChiefDetective Cummings said that he understood there were other charges pending, and asked for a remand to April 7. Bail was fixed at £IOO and Wc 0.l ley ordered to report daily to the police.
