CASES FOR APPEAL BOARD The Board of Appeal of the No. 1 District Transport Licensing authorities commences its sitting to-morrow in St. Andrew’s Ilall. His Honour Mr. Justice Frazer will preside, and associated with him will be: Mr. L. B. Campbell, District Engineer; Mr. A. Thompson, City Council’s representative: Mr. E. A. Potter, outside local bodies, and Mr. G. G. Campbell, who will represent the private ’bus owners. The Takapuna Tramways and Ferry Co., Ltd. is appealing against the license granted to Alfred Henry Smith, yellow ’■buses, to continue a motor - omnibus service between Devonport and Milford. The Takapuna Borough Council is also appealing against this license. The Takapuna Tramways and Ferry Co., Ltd., is also appealing against the license granted to Ernest Eady to run a ’bus from Devonport to Brown’s Bay. The Takapuna Council is also opposing this license. Leonard John Keyes is appealing against a license being granted to the Auckland City Tramways to run a ’bus from the Remucra terminus to Meadowbank Road, and the Passenger Transport Co., Ltd., is appealing against a license being granted to the Auckland City Tramways to run a ’bus ■■service from the Harp of Erin to Mcadowbank Road.
