Temperature in shade yesterday: Maximum fi.sdeg.; minimum, 55deg.; maximum temperature in sun, 12Sdeg. Bright sunshine yesterday, shr smhi. Minimum temperature on grass, 49deg\ direction of wind at 9 a.m., south. Velocity wind previous 24 hours, 98 miles. Rainfall during previous 24 hours, .02 in. Rainfall to date this month, 4.54 in. Observations taken at 9 a.m.:
calm; L. light: Br, breeze; FB fresh breeze; MG moderate gale; G, whole or heavy gale; \V, gale of exceptional severity.
