ALBURNIAS ACTIVE MOANATAIARIS (CON.) WEAKER Except for mining, most classes of business was dead on the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning. Only a limited number of sales were recorded. In banks, National of New Zealand have weakened with sellers asking £ * 4s 6d and no buyers in the field. Taranaki Oils are still in evidence and buyers’ quotations rose Id this morning. . , In mining, Alburnias are active and have advanced to 3s 9d for sellers and 3s 6d for buyers, several parcels changing hands at from 3s 5d to 3s Sd. Moanataiaris (con) are weakening and a fall of approximately 25 per cent, on this week’s opening quotations has been registered. For both paid ana con., sellers are asking 5s and buyers offering 4s 6d. ~ National Timber weakened at the mid-day call, sellers’ closing quotations being 9d down on yesterday. SALES REGISTERED At yesterday afternoon’s call: Alburnia, 3s sd; Lucky Shot (con.), 2s 7d. At 10 o’clock this morning: Alburnia, 3s 7 d and 3s Bd.
