Nonpareil. —Driving In u northerly direction up on the Shamrock reef has •b**en in progress. A most congenial class of country is being penetrated arid a cross leader 6in in width trending at almost right-angles to the main reef was passed through during the week. The main lode will be broken down next week. New Waiotahi. —The drive hillward *»n the Waiotahi -Cambria reef has been advanced 10ft for the week, and now appears to be through the break and into solid country. A little water is making on the right-hand side of the drive indicating that quartz is . lose at hand. The drive from the bottom of the winze on the footwall leader has been advanced hillward Oft for the week. The leader, which has been composed of pug for some disH tance, is now making into quartz from ■ the floor of the drive to half-way up the face.
