Air Service Delayed.—The opening of the complete Egyptian-India air route fixed for April 6, has been postponed owing to the Persian Government refusing to sign agreements with the Imperial Airways enabling an extension to be made from Basra to Karachi. —A. and N.Z. Obituary.—The death is announced of Dr. Anstruther Lawson. Professor of Botany at Sydney University. The “Sydney Morning Herald” estimates that over a million people viewed the arrival procession of the Duke and Duchess of York on Saturday.
