committee, will be cut out and it was hoped that this would tend for the greater enjoyment of the members. The committee had obtained a report on the links from Mr. C. H. Redhead — a golf architect with considerable experience in England and elsewhere. This report would be of great value in further improving the standard of the links. Minor alterations and improvements necessary for the general comfort of members had been carried out to the clubhouse during the year. A full report would be presented to the annual meeting dealing with the future policy in connection with the clubhouse and the links generally, and the opinion of members would be taken. AUCKLAND LADIES’ CLUB The members of the Auckland Golf Club will open the season to-morrow with medal foursomes at the Middlemore Links. Post entries will be received, plavers to choose their own partners, The president, Mrs. Savage, will entertain players at afternoon tea at the conclusion of play.
