REPORT ON LEAGUE TOUR N.Z. COUNCIL’S DECISION The managers’ report on the recent New Zealand League tour of England will not be published. This decision has been arrived at by the council of the x.Z. League. It is stated that Messrs E. 11. Mair and G. H. Ponder, the joint managers, dealt very fully with the whole position in regard to the trouble in the team, as a result of which seven players were disqualified for life, and it Is considered that no good purpose would be served by making the details of the report public. The proceedings in connection with the inquiry were taken in committee, and in the case of the managers’ report, it has now been decided not to make this public, either. Headquarters of N.Z. Council ■ The Canterbury Rugby League would like to have the council of the New Zealand Rugby League located at Christchurch. To this end, it has 1 sent forward a remit for the annual 5 meeting, which is to be held in Auckland on Thursday of next week, proposing that the headquarters of League be transferred from Auckland to Christchurch. i
