NEW OIL-TANKER

WEST COAST MOTOR TRAFFIC WANGANUI, Friday. Motor development along the West Coast has been phenomenal, and enormous quantities of oil are being consumed. A small oil-tanker is now being built specially in England for the transport of oil to Wanganui from Wellington. One oil company’s receiving-depot is now operating, the oil being brought from Wellington in drums, but the shipment of bulk oil to Wanganui will not begin for three or four months.
