Captain A. E. Chrisp recommisisoned the lvaimanawa yesterday, and has the following officers with him; Chief, Mr. G. Kent; second, Mr. J. W. Knox: third, Mr. J. Duncan; ciiiel' engineu Mr. D. Swan; second, Mr. V. T. S Standring; third, Mr. H. G. Mackay; fourth, Mr. G. H. Davis; chief steward. Mr. R. Dohrn. Mr. G. Humphrey has joined the Clansman as second officer, vice Mr. 11. C. Gibson. Captain W. H. D. Gardner, of the Kaiapoi, arrived at Auckland yesterday from the South. Mr. W. C. F’alconer, second engineer of the Waitemata. has been relieved by Mr. N. F. Fleming. Captain W. Clark has superseded Captain G. McLachlan as master of the Mako. The Niagara was due to arrive at Suva at 1 a.m. to-day, and is expected to leave there at noon to-day for Auckland. She is expected to arrive here on Monday forenoon, and is announced to sail for Sydney at 8 p.m. the same night. MORE JARRAH. —The Union Company’s steamer Waikawa arirved at Busselton, Western Australia, on March 9, from Mediterranean i »rts. She is now loading hardwood for ITew Zealand. FORERIC TO SAIL. —A. projected departure from Auckland on Monday evening next is the steamer Foreric, for Westport, to bunker. From the coal port she will proceed to Nauru Island to load another cargo of phosphates for Auckland. THE PORT HACKING.— The C. and D. Line steamer Port Hacking is due at Bluff on April 19 from Aust Jia, and loads there, thence Timaru and Lytteltdn, for Home. She is scheduled to clear Lyttelton finally on April 25 for London, via Panama. THE CITY OF KIMBERLEY.-Due at Auckland at noon to-day from New York, the New Zealand Shipping Company hope to dispatch the steamei City of Kimberley on Monday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, to complete discharge. CORINTHIC HOME.— News has been received by the Shaw, Savill, ;jnd Albion Company that the Corinthic arrived at Southampton on Saturday afternoon from Wellington. The vessel left there on February 9. HORATIUS TO LOAD.— L. D. Nathan and Co. advise that the Shaw, Savill. and Albion steamer Horatius is due at New Plymouth on April 2. from Australia, to commence loading for Home. She afterwards loads at Nelson, thence Wellington, Gisborne, and Auckland. She is due here on April 17, and sails finally from this port on April 20 for London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe. HURUNUI TO LOAD. —The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Federal steamer Hurunui, after discharge of New York cargo in Australia, will come to New Plymouth, where she is due on April 6, to ommence loading for West Coast of Great Britain. The vessel will leave New Plymouth on April 9 for further loading at Opua, Auckland, Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington. She is due at Wellington on April 27, and will sail from there on May 1 for Avonmouth. Glasgow, Manchester, and Liverpool. PORT BOWEN AT LONDON. —News has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Bowen arrived at London on Monday morning from Waikokopu. The vessel sailed from Waikokopu on February S. WELLINGTON’S LATEST.—Wellington’s latest wharf, which is still in the builders’ hands, the Burnham Wharf, at Miramar, was occupied for the first time on Wednesday, when the Kaimaiberthed there to discharge timber. The wharf has been completed for a length of 200 feet, but another 640 feet yet remain to be done. The most up-to-date bulk oil discharging equipment will be installed on the wharf when completed. THE GUY C. GOSS. —An interesting departure from Auckland this morning was the ex-American barque, Guy C. Goss, for Wharekawa, in the Firth ol’ Thames, where her owners, Me sis. Carr, Pountney, and Co., hold large shingle properties. Two weeks after her arrival at this port, in March 24 of last year, she was arrested for debt, and writs were nailed to the mast. Later she was sold to help defray expenses, and was then anchored off Hobsons Bay. Until this morning, when she was towed away, the barque remained at this anchorage, and her disappearance is leaving that part of the harbour strangely empty. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—YESTERDAY’S ARRIVAL. Ngatiawa (5 p.m.), from Hokianga. YESTERDAY’S DEPARTURE. Thomas Cunnell (4 p.m.), for West Coast. The Rarawa leaves Onehunga at 3.30 p.m. to-day for New Plymouth, and returns on Sunday next. The Ngatiawa sails from Onehunga lor Raglan and Kawliia this afternoon.
Ulimaroa Sailed. —With passengers, mails and general merchandise the Huddart Parker intercolonial steamer Ulimaroa sailed from Auckland for Sydney at 11.25 o’clock this morning. She is due at the Australian port on Tuesday next. The following passengers are on board:
