The Daily Mail" says LieutenantColonel Douglas Talbot, ennimaTiding the 17/21 Lancers, was foun shot dead in the library of the Cavalry Barracks at Aldershot. The dead officer had a brilliant Army career, and had held many im portant staff appointments, including that of genera] staff officer, 48th Division, in France and Italy during the war. —Sun.
