Mr. Maxwell S. Walker was yesterday admitted by Mr. Justice MacGregor as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court, on the motion of Air. Ralph L. Ziman. Mr. Charles H. Taylor, a geologist and banker, of Oklahoma, America, arrived in Auckland yesterday on a world tour and left for Rotorua this morning. He is particularly interested oil, and will study the prospects in A’ew Zealand. Mr. A. A. Coates was yesterday admitted by Air Justice AlacGregor as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court on the motion of Air. N. H. Hanna. Mr. W. A. Veitch, M.P. for Wanganui, who has been in Auckland in connection with the revival of the Liberal Party, left for the south by train last evening.
