THE GREAT NORTH ROAD. This long ribbon of concrete pavement has replaced one of the worst roads out of Auckland. It should in its service, inspire the Main Highways Board to go on rapidly with the struction of modern thoroughfares of traffic and make an end to the provincial curse of bad roads.
