INSULT AND INJURY
TWO MEN FINED Christopher John Gallagher and William James Trainor weren’t exactly sober when they started an 'argument in Victoria Street last night. Trainor said something very rude and Gallagher led with a straight left to his nose. Constable Jones saw the whole affair and promptly arrested both of them.
This morning in the Police Court was lined £1 for assault and Trainor’s rude remarks, which were described as obsence language, cost him £3, with an alternative of 10 days.
