THROWN AGAIN

MISHAP TO PRINCE OF WALES HIS HIGHNESS UNINJURED By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Wednesday. Another accident occurred to the Prince of Wales while he was riding in a steeplechase at Pytchley, Nortliampshire. His Royal Highness led a field of 16 over the first jump, which he took brilliantly. The horse stumbled on landing, however, and the Prince was thrown 15 yards. He turned a somersault, and turned on his back. He lay motionless, with his arms protecting his head, until the field had passed on. Then the Prince jumped up unhurt and smiling. He chased his horse, which a farm worker had caught, the latter assisting the Prince to mount. His Royal Highness patted the horse’s neck, and said: “You old fool.” He then returned to the paddock. —A and N.Z.
