DOUBLE BANKRUPTCY

CREDITORS’ MEETING A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estates of J. A. N. Winger and G. L. Winger, of Taumarunui, trading as Winger and Coy., garage proprietors and of G. L. Winger, retired sawmiller. was held to-day. The private estate of G. IV Winger, who was adjudged on a creditor’s petition, showed a nominal surplus of £20,850 13s. 6d. In the partnership estate of Winger and Cov., debts were set down at £8474 11s., and assets at £4153 3s. lid., leaving a nominal deficiency of £4321 7s. Id. Owing to J. A. Winger failing to produce a statement as to the cause of bankruptcy the meeting was adjourned until further particulars are available. It was resolved that the books in the bankrupt estate be handed to an accountant for investigation, and that the assets be disposed by tender.
