By gently acting on the liver and slightly moving the bowels, the heavy drowsy feeling, and headache, with, generally, pains in the chest and back, especially after eating, is dissipated. Taraxacum and Podophyllin is much safer than calomel or lilac pill, and certainly quite equal for removing the distressing inconvenience and pain attendant on dyspepsia.
