By gently acting on the liver and slightly moving the bowels, the heavy drowsy feeling and headache, with, generally, pains, in the chest and hack, especially after eating, is dissipated. Taraxacum and l'odophyllin is much safer than calomel or blue pill, and certainly quite equal for removing the distressing inconvenience and pain attendant on dyspepsia. Taraxacum has for years past proved of value in these eases, but its combination with l'odophyllin, or May Apple Resin, considerably enhances its power.
