Uu Tuesday afternoon last the schooner Venture, which lias come down to run between iavaii and Upolu for Mr. Cornwall, . passed the harbour for Fasitootai. We have since learned that she loft Auckland on the Bth,of January , so that she brings us no later news than wo have already had. The three-masted schooner Sirocco, which wo have been so long and anxiously looking for, put in an appearance on Wednesday morning last. She left Sydney on the 14th December, and has since visited Fiji, Tongatabu, Haabai, und Vavau, having left the latter port on the 20 instant. The captain reports that since lie left Fiji the weather has been most wretched; calms, head winds, or severe gules blowing most of the time. •She brings a fair cargo for this port, as well •as a quantity of trade.
