'Die schooner Ovalau arrived in harbour, from Auckland, on Saturday last, under churter to Messrs. M'Arthur and Co. She left Auckland on the 23rd December, and called at Niue and Tutuila on the passage. It will be noticed by our advertisingeohmms that she will leuve again, for Auckland, on Tuesday next. On Monday last the German barque Ferdinand arrived in harbour, from Capetown, after a very good run of fifty-six days. She has brought about 150 tons of coal. On Wednesday morning she was towed up to Saluafata by the Nautilus, for the purpose of discharging her coul into the Bismarck. The Veuture, a small schooner of some fifteen tons burden, maybe hourly expected to arrive from Auckland. She was to have taken her departure a few days utter the Ovalau. Upon arriving hero she will enter the inter-island service of Mr. F. Cornwall, of Fasitootni. The London Mission barque John Williams was detained ut Nine for a week in consequence of hud weather. She left that port for Sydney on the 17th Dec. By latest advices the schooner Sirocco was to leave Sydney for this port, via Fiji and Tonga, on the 10th December. Wo may therefore look for her to arrive any day. The barque Keeonuaissauco arrived in Sydney on the 3rd of Doc. The German barque Cesar Godeffroy arrived in Sydney from Melbourne on" the 25th of December; we may therefore expect her to arrive in port at any hour.
