Every British subject selling arms and amunition without such license shall be liable on conviction before the Court of the High Commissioner to imprisonment with bard labour for any period not exceeding three months, as the Court may direct. 111. Every license issued under this Regulation shall specify the name of the party to whom it is issued, and his residence, and the number of arms and the n uount of amunition which he is licenced to sell, and every such license shall re-m.-.in in force until the 31st day of Decrnber in the year in which it is issued and 1 V. A fee of one shilling shall bo payable on the issue of every such license. V. :\u such liocnso shall be issued to any British subject unless ho have previously entered into a Bond to Her Majesty the Queen, so conditioned that he engages to forfeit to Her Majesty the sum of Fifty Pounds sterling should he sell any arms or amunition to any native of Samoa, or any native of any island in the Pacific Ocean; and every such Bond shall have two good and sufficient sureties t"i he satisfaction of the Deputy Commissioner or Consul.
