splendid race, but unfortunately after tho winning past had been past, Peter ran his rider, Mr. A. Skelton, against a tree. The force of the collision unseated him and soverly bruised his thigh, but nothing serious. Beyond this, a few of the usual spills, and tho heavy rain in tho morning nothing happened to mar the pleasure ol the day's sport. Wo hope that yesterday's amusement will be the forerunner of many more. The following is tho result of "tho racing : First Rack. It was an easy victory for Futi, she having won in a canter; Bismarck was a poor second, and Bully a bad thud. The other two wero decidedly out of the race, more particularly Suile, whose. jockey would certainly be more at home riding a boom than a horse. Sr.co.vi) Rack. In addition to the above there were two extra races, one uf which was won by Fuii, and the other by Bismarck, a couple of donkey races, and various other spoils, making altogether a very plea ant day's amusement.
