GENTLEMEN— When you record your votes for Supervisors, ou Tuesday next, remember: — Do not vote for carpet-baggers and men who have endeavoured to obstruct everything that has been proposed for the good of our town. Vote for men who are not ignorant or pigheaded, not for uicu who have no real stake or even interest in the country beyond tho rapid accumulation of u few dollars to enable them to leave tho country aud its fortunes to its fate ; but vote for thoso who have good sound common sense, who thoroughly understand the plan that tho three Representatives of the three great nations, aio endeavouring to work out for our public boncfit, and, knowing which, will work in harmonious accord with those high officials for tho common weal. It may not bo an easy matter to pick upon three men who will como up to the necessary standard ; but there is yet time to consider well before you go to tho poll. There will not be so much diifioulty in Oiling the other officeß of Assessor, Collector and Treasurer, who, unliko tho Supervisors, will be eimply paid servants of the Board ; and it will bo a still simpler matter if the right men will only consent to stand for the right place.
