On Thursday Mr. J. K. V. Alvord held au auction sulo at t.iu International Hotel, when he ottered for public competition a largo assortment of provisions, &c, ex Undine and other vessols. Notwithstanding tho continued depression .in business, he succooded in disposing of a number of lines.
