The barque Clara arrived in harbour on ■Saturday last, in ballast, J'rum Now Caledonia. Sho loft again yesterday for the Friendly islands. The German three-mast schooner Allianeo arrived in harbour from Sydney, on Tuesday last. She left Sydney on the :26th •of lobt mouth, and for the first three days experienced light winds, the ucxt eight days a gale from the west, with very high sea. >rom that time middling fair weather with occasional squalls from the south till reaching imrbour. On Tuesday lust tho brigantine Active arrived in harbour, from_Ancklaud, which port she left on thel'Jth of last month, but hud to put back for several days. >ho is advertised to leave for Auckland, via Fasitoutui and Stavuii, on Tuesday next.
The schooner Niuafou took her departure for New Britain ou Wednesday last.
The U.S.S. Lnckawanaa took her departure for Honolulu, on Wednesday last. 'Quite a number of shoro peoplo went on board ou Tuesday afternoon to bid farewell to the captain and officers.
By advertisement in another column it will be noticed that Messrs. W. M'Arthur and Co. intend to run u vessel between this ■port und Auckland every two months.
