By gently acting on the liver aud slightly moving the bowels, the heavy drowsy foeling and headache, with, generally, pains in the chest aud back, especially after eating, is dissipated. Taraxacum and Podophyllin is much safer than calomel or bluu pill, and certainly quite equal for removing the distressing inconvenience and pain attendant on dyspepsia. Taraxacum has for years past proved of value in these eases, but its combination with Podophyllin, or May Apple Resin, considerably enhances its power.
