Messrs. Darin and Hett, under date Dec' 18, reports: Cotton—There was a sudden improvement at the end of last week, aud prices were pushed up Jd. to jd. per lb., but a relapse has since token place, and tho advance has been almost lost. No sales of Australian or Fiji, and only 25 bales Tahiti sold at 1 Id. per lb. Stock of Sen Island in Liverpool, 4876 bugs against 40-ia bags lust year. Copra—Tho market has been inactive; about .IKO bops and 160 tons loose offorod at auction, and part sold at £2l 15s to £22 for fair and good but dried.
