By gently acting on the livor and slightly moving the bowels, the heavy drowsy feeling and headache, with, generally, pains in the chest and book, especially after eating, is dissipated. Taraxacum and Podophyllin is much safer than calomel or blue pill, and certainly quite equal for removing the distressing inconvenience and pain attendant on dyspepsia. Taraxacum has for years past proved of value in these cases, but its combination with Podophyllin, or May Apple Hesin, considerably enhances its power. Bottles, 2s 9d and 4s 6d each, sold by chemists and J. Pepper, 237, Tottenham-court-road, whose name is on the label.
