Divixk Skrvk-e.—Wo have been requested to state that the usual Bervice will not be held in the Foreign Church, Apia, to-morrow morning. The Revd. P. L. Wurleidh, R.N., Chaplain of 11.8. ,11.8. Wolverene, will (u.v.) hold divine service in the aboveuamed church tomorrow at 7.30 p.m. Revd. Qeoeob Pratt.—This gentleman, who is a member of tho London Mission Society, with his wifo and family will leave Savaii noxt week iu the Reconnaissance. With the exception of a short abseneo in the Loyalty Islands he has been forty years iu Samoa. Mr. Pratt has nlways Deen known as a zealous hardworking missionary. He is an able scholar and an accomplished linguist and has contributed largely to the native literature of Samoa. The good wishes of all who know him and Mrs. Pratt will attend them in their well earned retirement from active service.

Easter Monday.—The prevalence of fine weathor makes this holiday a more suitable one for picnic and pleasure excursions than that of Xmas time. One party made a trip to Saluafuta and another visited Manono aud Apolima. Bartlctt, accompanied by his wife and family, left for Aaua on .Monday last, returning to town again on Thursday.

Sale of Native Property.—On Tuesday last an auction sale of tine mats and other native property was held at Aana. We believe that the goods sold upon this occasion were to satisfy lines imposed by Moepau, the chief of the Aana district.
