Th- Fox and Goose, and Hear and Lion, The Bull upon his conrso. Win- nol tlie C,w in gaiety Amid the bright array, ' Especially when all eaa'see There is a Milky Way. And as a dipper and a dish Ar n in starlight clear, It is not strange tn common sense, A spoon and dish appear. No doubt a dog dwells in the throng, _ Se.-a in a greenish fiamo— Familiar to astronomers, And Serins by name. ft wondrous seems a cow could spring, And everhap the moon, And tluil a dish ill Bportivoncss, Should run away the iqiuon. Yet with our headlights wo can't see, With feelings of surprise, Such things as the astronomer Beheld with clearer eyes. W,-Know however that Venus has, By natural causi s borne. Approuched the moon aiu! ■ f'.lv sat Cpoii its silver bora. Perhaps she thought a man (sojourned Within tho lunar sphere, , And moved by curiosity, She lost no'time to peer.
