8108 COMMISSfUXKU'S COUUT. A litting of the High Commissioner's Court was hold yesterday, before A. P. Msudslay, Esq., to inquire into a charge brought against one William Williams by Thomas Farre'l, of the £amoa Hotel. Tho defendant was charged with forcibly removing a building from otf the premiss of the plaintiff. After hearing the evidence, the Deputy Commissioner lined the defendant ill the sum of i."-', with os. costs.
Tin: Barqi'e Wellington. —On Thursday last a survey was held on the karqne Wellington, which arrived in a leaky condition on Tuesday last, resulting in her being condemned as unscaworthy. By reference to our advertising columns it will be Been that she is to be sold on Monday next, together with her cargo, which is some bUO tons of coal. This might not be a bad spec, with tite prospect of the arrival of an American mau-of war, and the Italian Scientific ship.
Api.v Ck.mf.tt.hy.—We notice that the committee of the above cemetery have commenced to place a fence around it. This has hitherto been much needed, and will have the effect of making the place look somewhat respectable. The difficulty will be in keeping the natives from tearing off the pickots. Wo would advise the committee to get the native government to inform their subjects that any one found so offending will be severely punished.
