IN the Samoa Times of 12th inst., wo observe an advertisement signed " Frcdoric Clay," referring to title deeds held by tbo London Missionary Society, and wo hereby Inform all concerned that the Treasurer of the Sumoan District Committee of tho sold Society reccivud, about six yonrs ago, certain titlo deeds of land as security for money given to the agent of the Central Polynesia Land and Commercial Company for transmission to London. Tho money has not yet boon paid, and the deeds aro therefore stilt held as legal security until the debt be paid by the successors of tho said Company, or tho London Missionary Society refunded by tho sale of tho lauds.
