IN the Samoa Times of 12th inst., wo observe an advertisement signed “ Frederic Clay,” referring to title deeds held by the London Missionary Society, and wo hereby inform all concerned that the Treasurer of flic Samoan District Committee of the said Society received, about six years ago, certain title deeds of land as security for money given to the agent of the Central Polynesia Land and Commercial Company for transmission to London. Thu money has not }'ot been paid, and tin? deeds are therefore still held as legal security until the debt be paid by the successors of Unsaid Company, or the London Missionary Society refunded by tin* sale of the lands.
