TO TIIF. EDITOB OF THK Samoa TIMES. Sir, —Through the advent of your—to us—valuable paper, " Sinbad " takes his wateh below. But using the language of the " P. R." lie must pop in one with the " eight " occasionally. " Apropos,'' your remarks in your last issue with respect to the grave-yard, are, I believe correct, and yet —as you remark —it is private property, it is public ground. " Good, let the dead rest." I now call the attention of the public to a far more important subject. The fathers of children, now grown and growing up, purchased a piece of land for the purpose of electing a school for the " Education of Foreign children." This money was placed in the hands of Trustees, but nothing has been done, with the exception of leasing and releasing the laud, and no account lias been rendered to the Foreigners as to what was done with the money, and the accumulated rents accrueing from the said lease and re-leases. The Foreigners children are growing up in ignorance, and with the exception of the French Schools, there is no place open to them.
