The barque Waudrohra, left here for Europe direct, on .Sunday morning last, taking with her a full cargo of island produce, Messrs. Huge, Hedemann, & Co.'s brigantiue, Matautu, took her departure on Sunday morning last, on a trading voyage to the Ellis Group. Fine weather was experienced throughout the passage. She will leave again "to-day to continue her trailing voyage. The German ship of war, left hero for Tonga, on Monday morning last, where she .will be absent for about three weeks. The ■German Consul was a passenger by her, we believe upon an official visit. The German harquo Adele left East London, Cape Town, oa the 25th August, after landing about 200 emigrants at that place from Hamburg. She experienced very fair weather until reaching about 30-S, when a very heavy gale from the N was met with, which lasted eight days. From thence to port very fair moderate weather, arriving on Tuesday afternoon last. She is onsigned to Messrs. J. C. Godeffroy and Solin, and is in ballast. The sehoonor William and Julia, which arrived in port on Wednesday night last, left Vavau on the evening of the 20th iust. She met the Nerval in that port, and reports that she left for Habaai on the evening «f the 16th inst. The schooner Canterbury returned to port, from Tutuila, yesterday morning, having left there on Thursday morning. The barque Podraza will leave here tomorrow, for Tonga, where she will finish her loading for Europe. The schooner Elizabeth is likely to change hands to-day. During the past week the Government party have been trying to obtain sufficient money to purchase her for the purpose of transporting troops to Tutuila. We understand that they expect to bo in sufficient funds to eoncludo the purchaso today. We understand that the schooner Canterbury, after being condemned at Tutuila, was s ill tor the benefit of whom it may concern, for some 10.5 dollars. The leak* were then temporarily plugged up, which enabled her to come on here in safety.
