Wo understand thero is, or was, a law against selling dynamite to natives, but supi<oso unscrupulous characters take i d vantage of oursituation to make uiouny in this way, as thoy do with the liquor traffic. Dynamite is a highly dangerous material, and tho natives do n»t understand the propor use of it. Wo aro told there is groat quantity among the natives. All over tho country can be hoard explosions of dynamite, and it is surprising there aro not more accident*. Probably there sre, but we do uot hear of them
