At a great Tnalolo held at Matautu yesterday by the followers of Mataafa some two or threo thousand armed Samoans paraded before Mahetoa, who really looked a Kiner in his every movement. Ilia people paid him every respect. Quito a number of Foreign residents and half-castes attended ; it was a prand sight. Just before tho conclusion of tho Taalolo nnMvo boats wero discerned coming round Mulinuu, and shortly aftorwards appeared - 2.'l boats fully manned by the Suvaii contingent of Mataafa'sarmy (übout 700 men), pullod past tho various ships in harbor singing, and when they passed tho American man-of-war they gave a hearty che<»r. The name compliment was paid to tho British gun-boat.
