RACES AT STRATFORD, Ist AND 2nd JANUARY.

On Ist January the usual 7.43 a.m. train New Plymouth to Wanganui runs to Hawera only. Special passenger train leaves New Plymouth 9.40 a.m., arriving Stratford 11.30 a.m. Return train leaves Stratford 6.0 p.m. for New Plymouth. The usual 7.25 a.m. train Hawera to New Plymouth will NOT run. Special trains leave Hawera 7.0 a.m. and 7.30 a.m., Stratford 8.20, and 8.58 a.m., arriving New Ply mouth 10.10 a.m. and 10.48 a.m. The usual 4.25 1 p.m. train New Plymouth to Hawera will NOT run. Special passenger trains leave New Plymouth 5.55 p.m. and 6.35 p.m. for Hawera. Special train will leave Hawera 9 50 а. arriving Stratford 10.55 a m. 1 Return train leaves Stratford 5.35 p.m. for Hawera. The usual 6.45.a.m. train Wanganui New Plymouth will not run. Special train leaves Wanganui б. a.m. jirriving Stratford 11.20 a.m.

Return special leaves Stratford 6,1p.m. for Wanganui. The usual 4.0 p.m. train Hawora. to New Plymouth will NOT run. Special train leaves Hawera 6.5 p.m., Stratford 7.18 p.m.. arriving' New Plymouth 9.0 p.m. Toko Branch, ordinary service will be suspended. Special passenger train leave Whangamomona 8.0 a.m., Te Wera 8.55 a.m., arriving Stratford 10.40 a.m. Return-train leaves Stratford 9.5 p.m. for "Whangamomona. The 7.0 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. trains Hawera to New Plymouth and thu. 5.55 and 6.35 p.m. trains New Plymouth to Hawera will stop at East End Platform near 'Fitzroy, to sot down and take up passengers. On 2nd January, the usual ,6.45 a.m. train Wanganui to New Plymouth' leaves Wanganui 6.20 a.m., arriving Stratford 11.20 a.m. then'-e----to New Plymouth as usual. Special train leaves New Pymoutii 9.30 a.m. arriving Stratford 11.25 a.m. Return train leaves Stratford 6.0 p.m. for New Plymouth. The usual 12.50 p.m. train will le delayed to leave New Plymouth 3.20 p.m., Stratford 6.1 p.m., arriving Wanganui 10.48 p.m. Special train leaves Whangamomona 8.0 a.m., Te Wera 8.55 a.m., arriving Stratford 10.40 a.m. The usual 9.45 a.m. train Whangamomona to Stratford will NOT run. Holders of Excursion Tickets to Stratford cannot travel by the South Mail train, nor return by the North Mail train on Ist and 2nd January.
