Official—ln the Maghdabah engagement, the total number of the enemy captured was 1350, of whom forty-five were officers. Seven guns were secured. The total enemy engaged was about two thousand, therefore the force was practically destroyed. Southwards, our mobile troops penetrated Mitla Pass and destroyed the defences at the eastern end and burned the camps in the neighbourhood. i ' ANOTHER BRITISH SUCCESS. ENEMY COMPLETELY ROUTED. Egypt, Official.—Our moimteds captued the stronghold at Maghdabah, capturing 1130 men, two guns, and large booty. The enemy's casualties were considerable. The aircraft cooperated with bombs and, machineguns. Our aeroplanes are continuing to harass the- enemy. Seven guns were captured at Maghdabah. The prisoners now number 1350. The enemy was completely routed.
